From playing games and buying raffle tickets to donating and enjoying the incredible bake sale, every contribution helped make the evening a huge success. We were especially amazed by the wonderful baked goods donated by our talented community bakers, they were a huge hit!

We're excited to share that together we raised over $1,700 for the Sargent PTO!

These funds will go directly toward supporting our students, teachers, and school programs in the coming year. Your generosity, enthusiasm, and community spirit make all the difference, and we are so grateful for your support.

Family FUN-DRAISING Night!
At Happy Valley Barcade

Wednesday, June 3rd
4 PM – 7 PM

Bring the whole family, and all of your friends, for an evening of games, prizes, and community fun at Happy Valley!

Enjoy arcade games while supporting the Sargent PTO, with proceeds going directly to students and teachers.

During the event:
• $1 from every drink sold will be donated to the PTO.
• 50% of arcade game sales (excluding pinball and Killer Queen) will also go back to the school community

Face Painting
- And more family-friendly activities!

This is a family event for all ages and is NOT a drop-off event.

You can still join the fun by pre-buying raffle tickets, or just donating!

Tickets are $3 each or 10 for $25. 

To buy, please venmo payment with the number of raffle tickets you would like.

We will send you an email with a photo of your tickets, and a question about which prize you would like to put them in. 

Your name will be written on the tickets you purchase and we will be in touch if you win.

A long-standing Sargent tradition, the Holiday Shoppe is one of our most loved student events. Every child gets the chance to shop independently for the special people in their lives, giving them a rare and meaningful moment of ownership in gift-giving.

Last year, the amazing Audrey Posteraro brought this event completely in-house, moving away from costly third-party companies and instead sourcing items ourselves. This change made a huge difference. 

Every item in the shop is under $5, with most priced between $1 and $2. Just as importantly, it allows us to support students who may run out of funds or need help covering gifts for everyone they want to shop for.

Affordability and access for all are central to this event. We work hard to ensure every child can fully participate and experience the joy of giving.

How it works:
• Your child has already received a form home in their backpack. Please complete it together to list who they would like to shop for and plan a simple budget.
• You can send funds via Venmo to @SargentElementary-PTO. Any unused money will be returned, or you may choose to donate the remainder to the PTO to help support other students. Or you can send your child in with cash.
• During the week, your child will visit the Holiday Shoppe with their class. Our wonderful volunteers will be there to guide and support them while they shop.

The joy and pride the kids experience during this event truly cannot be overstated. If you have time to volunteer, we would love your help.  We promise it will leave you full of holiday spirit.
