What can we accomplish? The Sargent PTO's goal is to support the teachers, administration, staff and students at Sargent Elementary School through volunteerism, fundraising and idea fulfillment. We want to help our Sargent Stars shine.
Do you have a talent to share? Can you spare an hour a month to volunteer? We need you. Please contact [email protected] to see how you can help. |
Our Accomplishments:The PTO has an operating budget of about $7,000. These funds came from fundraisers including catalog item sales, Trivia Night, school pictures, bake sales, Boxtops, spirit wear sales, clothing bin donations, food and entry fees at events, and raffles.
The money raised goes a long way to help make Sargent such a great school! The PTO has spearheaded beautification projects such as creating a hallway mural with Joe Pimental, painting the gym, making a colorful footpath on the playground blacktop; playground improvement projects such as installing a 10-spin a and a gaga ball pit; gardening projects like planting trees; creating a teaching space/sensory garden with touchable, tactile, fragrant plants, and creating garden beds; student support projects like donating backpacks with school supplies, helping fund students on field trips, and stocking the school food pantry. Each year we offer school assemblies and scholarships, hold a teacher appreciation lunch, and perform community outreach to Sargent families and staff. We are proud of our achievements and thank you for making them a reality. Find us on social media: |
