It’s Scholastic Book Fair season here in the lovely land of Sargent Elementary - made even more magical because it’s our annual BOGO sale!

EVERY book is buy one, get one free! Are you jealous of your book-hungry children getting ready for the fair? Would you like to relive past glories of Goosebumps books and Michael Jordan posters? You can volunteer to administer this literary joy to the new generation - and you might even get to hug your kid in the process!

We need volunteers for school hours next week, and for Open House on Thursday, May 1st.

​Strap on your fanny pack, your tie-dye bandana, your cargo pants, and your crinoline, because we're traveling through time!
 
Friday, May 2nd, at 6pm in the Sargent gym, we're throwing a party for the ages - literally!

Kids (and - why not - parents too, you do you) are encouraged to dress in the style of your favorite time period - the swinging 60s, the roaring 20s, the regal Renaissance, the regrettable 2000s, even the future!

Mean Dogs will provide the best hot dogs in all of time and space. $5 suggested donation or pay what you can.

Parents - do you have a favorite time period and an artistic soul you're itching to show off? We need your help to make this party magical!

We’re looking for volunteers to create small era-themed photo areas for the kids to pose in during the party. The best scene will win a gift card to a local restaurant

​A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support the PTO at Trivia Star 25! We had an incredible time, and with your help, we raised nearly $2,000 to support Sargent School programs and activities!

​Big congrats to our (three-peat!) winning team — proving once again that random knowledge does pay off!

​Shop at the FISHKILL Be Green Kids Consignment sale next week and raise funds for our PTO.  The Be Green Sale will be held at the Fishkill Recreation Center (793 Rte 52, Fishkill, NY)

April 9 - 12, 2025!

​Be Green Kids Consignments offers special early access shopping times designated as SHOP FOR A CAUSE.  

Choose an early access shopping time, and your entry fee will be donated to Sargent Elementary PTO, AND Be Green will match that fee!  

If you normally shop the Be Green sale, shop during these early access hours!  If you've never been, definitely check it out over 25,000 new & gently used items for the kids!  Clothes, shoes, books, toys, baby gear/equipment, and so much more!

Early Access Hours: **Must pre-register/purchase via the link- cannot purchase at the door!**

Wed 4/9  5pm-8pm  $10 entry fee
Thu 4/10 9am-11am  $5 entry fee (open to public at 11am-7pm)
Fri 4/11 3pm-5pm $5 entry fee - early access to discount pricing (open to public 5pm-7pm)

If you cannot shop during the early access hours, just print the attached flyer and bring with you during public shopping hours (Thu 4/10 11am-7pm; Fri 4/11 9am-2pm/5pm-7pm or Sat 4/12 8am-Noon) and give to cashier at checkout.  They will ask you which school you are from, and Be Green will donate $5 to us!
