Community Conversation Zoom Recordings
Are you wondering how to keep kids safe online? Do you know what it means to be a good "digital citizen"? What is the best way to handle online bullying? Ryan Biracree, the director of the Innovation & Learning Center at the Desmond-Fish Library in Garrison, gave a presentation on online learning and digital communication, and what to watch out for.
Ryan discussed:
- ways to keep elementary-age children safe online,
- the elements of digital literacy, and
- how to build digital citizenship skills.
Ryan runs an array of science, technology, and writing programs for kids at the Library. He teaches classes and workshops for parents and children on digital literacy, online safety, information literacy, and digital citizenship. Ryan is an educator dedicated to inclusivity and creativity. He is also a Sargent parent!
